Awais Ahsan

Dr. Awais Ahsan is a fresh graduate of the prestigious institute, King Edward Medical University (KEMU). After graduation, he completed his Housejob at Mayo Hospital Lahore, Pakistan’s largest public-sector tertiary care hospital. He was honored with Best House Officer Award by departments of Chest Surgery and General Medicine. In addition to being an extra-ordinary student, he was an active member of student-patient welfare society and worked voluntarily for the patients’ welfare by organising fund-raising events and awareness campaigns. It later helped him excel in his exceptional counslling skills and rapid rapport building which is crucial for patients in every field of medicine. His immense interest in providing mental health awareness and psychosocial support led him to work here, as a Resident Medical Officer in Willingways Lahore. Currently, he’s providing the best care to the patients admitted for rehabilitation by identifying critical problems affecting his patients and motivating them to get back to life.
