Maimoona Zahid is a strong communicator, enthusiastic and ambitious person. She is a very well motivated Clinical psychologist with an ability to work positively and therapeutically with a wide range of clientele along with being able to deal the clients from different age groups.
She has done her Masters in developmental psychopathology from Quaid-i-azam University Islamabad, after the completion she did the specialization in the field of Clinical psychology with the degree of MS in Clinical psychology from National University of Sciences and Technology, Islamabad (NUST).
Maimoona has served as a trainee psychologist in Armed forces Institute of Mental health (AFIMH) Rawalpindi and in the department of psychiatry PIMS. She has also worked with a renowned education system Oasis school System to enhance her skills as a child psychologist. Along with the clinical skills she also works as an educationist in the field of psychology where she has been associated with International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) as a visiting faculty. Her research experience includes work on ‘’ Role of problem solving in childhood behavior problems’’ and ‘’Attachment styles among newly married couples’’. She has served as writer in Quaid-i-Azam University’s monthly Gazette. She participated in various workshops and trainings i.e. PTSD, EMDR, CBT, Importance of self care for mental health professionals, Mindfulness, Autism spectrum Disorder, Compassion fatigue and many more.
She is working at Willing Ways Pakistan as a Clinical psychologist. She is committed, hardworking and well motivated professional.
