Muhammad Talha Khalid is working as Clinical Psychologist at Willingways since Feb, 2016. His education is M.S Clinical Psychology from International Islamic University, Islamabad, Pakistan. He did his M.Sc. Psychology from University of Sargodha with 3rd position in the university.
He brings a professional background in the field of Addiction Rehabilitation and had been working as Counseling Psychologist/ Case Manager in Mian Afzal Trust Hospital for Drug Prevention, Treatment & Rehabilitation, Gujranwala, for two years. He has good exposure to different workshops and trainings including eight echo-training for Addiction Practitioners of Pakistan (Colombo Plan), Lahore, IPA, Interpretative phenomenological Analysis, GC University, Lahore, Mastering the Power of Hypnotism for Self Enhancement, Lahore, Life Skills/Peer Education in Mian Afzal Trust Hospital, Gujranwala, and FLCs (Functional Literacy Centre) Teacher’s Training Govt. Of Punjab, Gujranwala.
He has successfully done two individually based projects which are, Non-Formal education program (Punjab Literacy Movement Project) for Clients of Substance Use & Manipulation of “Token Economy” system for “Behavior Modification” in Mian Afzal Trust Hospital, Gujranwala (Modifiable in the clinical setting and/or organization/institutes according to desired behavior/s).
He is an associate member of the American Psychological Association (APA), The International Society for Substance Use Prevention and Treatment Professionals (ISSUP), and World Health Organization’s (WHO) Global Clinical Practice Network (GCPN).
He belongs to Gujranwala. He is passionate about Kung fu and likes to play Cricket. He loves to go on adventure tours. He is optimistic, Co-operative and self- courageous personality.
