Sibtain Mustafa serves as Clinical Psychologist at Willing ways Lahore. He has done Master’s in Clinical Psychology, from University of Karachi, Karachi.
He has served as an internee at Anti Narcotics Force-ANF Rehabilitation Center, Karachi. During his internship he developed understanding of basic concepts in addiction. Furthermore he has worked as a trainee psychologist in Alleviate Addiction Suffering (AAS) Trust, Karachi.
Training period allowed him to treat criminals with drug induced psychosis. There he got chance to polish his skills of understanding alcohol and drug addiction. Not only he understood treatment models like Minnesota model and Therapeutic Community (TC) Model but also became more interested in treatment of addiction and decided to pursue his career in this field.
His research includes working on interpersonal relationships, curiosity in humans, subjective happiness and common personality traits. He has also conducted research to assess the quality of education in inclusive school for which he interviewed several school principals and vice principals. He also worked as a career counselor where he got chance to apply his counseling skills.
Later he joined willing ways, he is conducting group sessions and classes on core concepts like denial management, craving management, disease concept, relapse prevention, recovery and other psychological disorders.
