Arman Ahmed is working as clinical psychologist at Willing Ways, Lahore. In 2015, he completed his MS in Clinical Psychology from Government College University, Lahore. He is also an alumni of Forman Christian College and Aitchison College Lahore.
Arman has served as a trainee clinical psychologist at the adult psychiatry ward of Mayo Hospital Lahore, during which time he conducted detailed assessment and management sessions with clients afflicted with a range of psychological disorders. Arman employs an eclectic approach towards therapy and borrows heavily from the cognitive-behavioral school of thought.
He has also received training from the university counseling center at Government College University, Lahore. He conducted management sessions with university students who were faced with a multitude of behavioral and psychological issues. He has also participated in workshops on NLP, Hypnosis and Transaction Analysis during his training period as a clinical psychologist.
His research work includes experimental studies on concepts of emotion regulation, empathy and threatened egotism. His interests also extend to topics in the sphere of social psychology such as the locus of control and superstitions.During his academic career, he served as the art editor of the university magazine at Forman Christian College Lahore,where he got a chance to exercise his creative skills as well.
